Rear suspension motion ratio made it difficult to get a good spring rate. The body had more flex than a pot of wet noodles.

I purchased a black Suzuki Swift GTi in the spring of 1990 and traded it in on a 1995 red Neon ACR in the spring of 1995. I modified my Swift GTi with header, exhaust, rear sway bar, strut tower braces, Open element air filter, MSD ignition, Urethane bushings and H rated 185/60 R14 tires. It was quicker and faster than stock.
